FLIGHT

TESTING

Flight Testing of customer payloads on CUV’s in-house aerostat systems

  • A lower-cost platform for field testing for:

    • Communications

    • Surveillance

    • Intelligence

  • Provide a long endurance surrogate for other platforms:

    • Aircraft

    • Unmanned Aerial Systems [UAS]

  • Easier and faster testing due to absence of electronic interference sources such as UAS control signals

  • FT can be used to develop new customer aerostat payloads

  • Ease of mounting payloads on the aerostat

  • CUV provides the operating crews and all consumables

LEASING

  • CUV trains a customer crew to operate the system

  • Customer provides all consumables:

    • Helium

    • Generator fuel

    • Secures FAA flight waivers

  • Due to insurance requirements, leasing is currently limited to US territory

    • Used to provide surveillance over an outdoor events:

      • NASCAR race 

      • military or other training activities
